In addition, we offer CO2 Laser surgery & a Therapeutic Laser which is our latest technology for pain management
Two Veterinary Assistants live on site to monitor hospitalized pets. Our full time, trained Veterinary Assistants and Receptionists work closely with the Doctors to ensure thorough, personable services for you. Preventive medicine is important enough to us to include a Dr's exam prior to vaccinating your pet with no charge for an office visit.

Dr. George N. Gilpin graduated from UK in 1970 where he met his wife Patty of 35 years. He graduated from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1974. Dr. Gilpin established the GSAC in 1975 and still finds Vet Med challenging and fulfilling. Dr. Gilpin has two children; Cara, a graduate of Auburn & Chad, who graduates from UK this year. Pets provide his enjoyment as he owns & shows Rocky Mountain Horses & has a Jack Russel Corky & cat, Sydney.

| Dr. Andy D. McCord grew up in Lexington & graduated from UK in 1996. He graduated from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001 & joined the Vet staff @ Gainesway in 2001 where he became a partner in 2005. Dr. McCord & his wife, Robin & their two sons, Alex & Cole reside in Lexington while enjoying their Labrador Retriever, Hogan & the Bluegrass area. |

Dr. Clark Vice grew up in Bath County & graduated from Morehead State University in 1997. He graduated from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001
and joined the GSAC staff in 2001 where he became a partner in 2005. Dr. Vice, his wife, Tracy & son, Carson enjoy their two Golden Retrievers, Harvey & Moses, as well as their cat, Howard. Dr. Vice spends time with his livestock & generally loves the outdoors.

| Dr. Ryan Nolty has joined our staff as of May 2010. Dr. Nolty graduated from UK in 2006 and from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. He, his wife Heidi, and their daughter Emma, reside in Lexington with their pet family. |
